The Loomis Company participated in the Relay for Life of Western Berks event on June 15 and 16, 2018. Relay for Life is a community based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. The mission of Relay for Life is to raise funds to improve cancer survival, decrease the incidence of cancer, and improve the quality of life for cancer patients.
Over the past year, The Loomis Company has held a number of fund raising activities for our employees. Some of these events were flower sales, 50/50 raffles, Reading Phils ticket book sales, and Do It Local memberships. We also raffled off gift baskets donated by the following companies: Sly Fox, Reading Fightin Phils, Paparazzi, Wyomissing Health and Fitness, The Works, Green Acres Golf, Simplee Charming, Sweet Ride Ice Cream, Body Zone, Bldg. 7 Yoga, Busy Bees and Mikura. We would like to thank all our employees and friends who supported Relay for Life of Western Berks. With their help we raised over $7,000 for Relay for Life!
